Angie Snyder is a painter who currently lives in Hatfield, PA. She received her BFA from Kutztown University with a concentration in painting and drawing. She has been operating an artist studio at the Banana
Factory, in Bethlehem, for the past seven years. During that time, she has taught drawing and painting classes for the Banana Factory, Lehigh Carbon Community College and East Lake Montessori School. She has also supervised mural projects throughout Bethlehem and Allentown. She also offers private
instruction and commissioned work.
She has been exhibiting her work in galleries and juried shows throughout the region. Highlighted exhibits include Allentown Art Museum, Reading Art Museum, Moravian Academy, Connexions Gallery and Rotunda Gallery at City Hall, just to name a few.
She believes art education is a way to reach people of all ages by enhancing their lives with creativity. She hopes to share her passion with others by demonstrating her craft and by encouraging students to find their own creative path.
Angie's paintings and drawings reflect her love of nature. She looks for scenes that are frequently viewed by many but perhaps not truly seen for their beauty. These everchanging landscapes allow her to take something she loves and share it with many. Most scenes are local but her recent work focuses on scenes from out west. Travel has recently become a part of her life, thanks to her fiance. These unique vistas have inspired her to broaden her vision of landscape painting.
